Actually, I am not a ‘something’ or ’somebody.’ I simply wear many fun hats and shoes, collected along life’s journey. They helped me navigate terrains; get out of the pits; taste awe, wonder and beauty. Now I play with others and we navigate together. Tell you what -
I am passionate about spiritual & therapeutic transformational work through arts;
... welcome all faith traditions and use different contemplative approaches;
... love and share art of free-flowing dance, art, poetry, imagination, sound;
... hold, witness, listen, invite, play, mirror, challenge, empathise, validate;
... at home with paradoxes, mysteries, mysticism, the unbelievable, unforgiveable;
... cherish storytelling of personal sacred stories transformed from old to new;
... value body wisdom, lifelong learning and practical spirituality in the world;
... am trauma-informed, celebrating body integration for spiritual growth;
... use insured modalities which I have experienced, proved and trained in;
... provide comprehensive boutique services, meeting clients' organic emergence;
... serve practitioners in leadership, lecturing, religious order, interfaith, etc.
Born in a Taoist family, I formally converted to Protestant Christianity in my 30s. In my 50s, I became a Catholic. Finding God through other faith traditions, I was active in interfaith dialogue and with interspiritual communities. Besides Buddhism and Sufism, I have also been enriched by my spiritual interest in Yoga & Shaivism, Tai-Chi, sound & voice, drumming, dreamwork and different kinds of meditation and spiritual practices.
As for creative therapies, I did ballroom championship and Chinese painting in my 20s. These became my foundation for art and dance therapies, which I trained for personal healing and post-surgical trauma recovery. Thus with interfaith-interspirituality calling and trauma experience, I became a practitioner with integrative well-being approach, as:
