Without thinking, I smear red acrylic on my canvas and my fingers go round and round on their own accord - a contemplative moment. This is Unfolding. I sense “Pain” is the word and there will be “Love” and “Light” in gold and white.
Shining flashlight from various corners of the finished triptych, I soak up the fascinating terrain displays, like the terrain of life spiralling from the point of singularity 13.7 billion years ago. The spirals are birth canals back to the Origin or Time wormholes reaching out to me.
“Pain” is when Life is nothing but darkness.
“Love” is when Life is all glowing - pain and darkness appear as pruning with green shoots of growth and maturity.
“Light” is when Life is seen As Is - pain, darkness and green shoots are perceived as how Life was, is and is to come.
Viewing the same Life’s unfolding through different perception lenses, is transformation.
